Starting a notebook upside down
I realized the other day that I started a notebook upside down. I had been looking all over for another notebook because I finished one and didn't have an extra laying out. Worse, the spot where I generally get notebooks was also out of my usual, so I ended up getting a pack of three with fewer pages that were all soft cover. No matter, I thought. I would fill them quickly and then get another hard cover I was well into the first when I noticed I had been using it upside down. It was almost enough to make me throw it in the trash. Maybe a former me would have done that. It bothers me every time I write in it. I've even started writing larger to fill it faster. That's just the kind of person I am.
