Remaking the bed
She's been cleaning our house since 2009. Ever since we moved into the house, I've had to remake the bed after she's been here. The top sheet is just too low and the blankets overlap. It's not right. I've never said anything to her about this and she has never noticed that the sheet and blankets are different than how she did it. I honestly don't mind remaking the bed. I am OCD about it and even if I did tell her how I do it, I'm certain she wouldn't do it with the care I do. It's fine. It's my problem. Well, it's also my partner's problem. She is so irritated by the whole thing, so I just do it when they're in the shower so there's no discussion about it, but she notices.
"Doesn't it feel better," I ask, as we settle into bed on the freshly laundered sheets.
