I guess I'm not over it
I always think of this photo when I think about the before times. It was taken on March 20, 2020 just days after everything shut down. The roads were empty, the air was cleaner than I've ever seen it. The kids were off playing in puddles. I knew things were going to last a lot longer than most other people thought. I hate that I was right. I hate that the pandemic showed us who we really were. I still get so dang upset about it. It foreshadowed what was yet to come. I haven't weeped about the pandemic in a long time, but tonight I did.
